Six Sentence Sunday: Blood and Fire

For my first Six Sentence Sunday on the new blog, I thought I would toss out six sentences from my published short story, Blood and Fire. The story was part of the 2011 DFE Quarterly publication, Sinisterotica: A Collection of Erotic Horror.

Just a little something to heat you up on a chilly Sunday morning. (I’d rate it a PG at worst — so safe enough for general audiences)

Enjoy!

Bartholomew patted Kevin on the shoulder. “She’s in good hands, my friend. Come by on Monday, and I’ll take a look at your prospectus.” He reached up and hooked a finger in the ring of my collar, yanking me toward him.

I stumbled, falling against his hard chest, the skin to skin contact searing my flesh. My eyes jerked up to meet his, my breath hitched. God, I want you.

About Bex Brennan

I never know what to put here. I assume something witty to make you think I'm interesting. But, Im just me -- a published erotica writer, single parent with a day job. I love my kids, writing, my boyfriend (life partner sounds ridiculous), my dog and going to camp on the weekends. *shrugs* That's all I got for ya.

  1. Well, that is a tease! I’d suggest editing your post, Bex, to let ’em know they can find the rest of this short—Sinisterotica. I see it in your tag now but I didn’t recognize these six at first. Blood and Fire is an AWESOME erotic/horror story!!! This and Stella’s, individually, are worth the cost of the entire anthology.

  2. Thanks, Claire 🙂 I still have to review the second half of the anthology — hopefully this month. I’ll toss an edit and link My writing, which has all that stuff for buying on it.

  4. Good post! I have a random question for you. How do you get your blog indexed by bing? I have a related web blog.
