Back of the Book:

College student, Francesca Morgan has finally met the Dominant man of her dreams. Kevin Stevenson is sexy, sure of himself, and knows just how to make her knees quake.

When he takes Frankie to her first fetish party, she is reminded being collared means her Master can do what he wishes with her, including offering her “services” for the evening to a sexy Dominant business associate he is trying to impress.

It doesn’t take long for Frankie to realize their host, Bartholomew Andrews is nothing like any Dom she has ever served. Aside from his devastating looks and heaping financial fortune, Bartholomew can read her thoughts, and knows just how to make her body react.

Can Frankie keep her wits about her and serve at his feet without falling for him, or will Master Amazing steal her heart and her soul in one steamy night of servitude?

I have to admit, I just LOVE THIS COVER. Of course, I may be biased. What do you think? You know how much I love your comments. Lay it on me, folks. 😀

One final note: My heartfelt thanks to MuseItUp Publishing and my talented cover artist, Suzannah Safi for the amazing cover.

However, once she’s safely away from her attackers, Keiran finds himself locked in another battle. He knows his weakness can kill; it did so in the past. But how can he find the courage to stay away when the image of her lovely face torments his mind?

When a new threat forces him to come to Celine’s aid again, will Keiran be able to fight temptation long enough to keep her alive and protected, even from himself?

For one, youngest pack member Josh Larsen wouldn’t be trapped in the sleep of the dead.

Now, Jem is convinced it’s her job to bring him back to life no matter what it takes— learning more about her heritage, risking pack exposure, or travelling to places she couldn’t have imagined possible.

Six Sentence Sunday: BDSM and Kink are HOT #duh #sixsunday

For my first post back in the swing of things for Six Sentence Sunday, I thought I would stir things up a bit, and maybe turn the heat up with a little snipit of the erotic short I just finished.

The story was written for a Kinky Christmas anthology, and I am still waiting on word of an acceptance or rejection, but in light of all the talk and hype lately with respect to kink and BDSM in fiction, I figured I would join in on the fun. This is part of a scene between the two main characters, Faith Daniels and Richard Halstead. (BTW — Hercules is Richard’s Saint Bernard)

Without further delay, here is my six sentences for this week:

“I’ll just come back tomorrow at the same time.” Faith glanced at Hercules. “As long as you promise not to growl at me again.”

“Yes, you’re right. Absolutely,” Richard agreed. ” I’m sure it’s much safer to ride the subway this late than to take a well meaning stranger up on his offer of kindness.”

You have to keep an eye on that Richard, he can be pretty convincing when he wants to be…so like a Dom 😛

As always, I would love to hear your comments or thoughts on the excerpt. Feel free to share.

Oh, and while you’re at it, please make sure to click the image at the top of the post or visit http://sixsunday.com and visit with the other authors participating in this week’s Six Sentence Sunday event.

Thanks so much for stopping in. See you next time.

Six Sentence Sunday: Back in the Swing! #sixsunday #writing

Welcome to my little part of the world wide web and thanks so much for stopping by for Six Sentence Sunday. As those of you who follow this blog regularly know, I have been absent from the group for a while now, and am just starting to get myself back in the swing of regular postings.

In honor of my actually remembering to write my post this week, I thought I would share a little snipit from my current WIP, MACHENWOOD.

Right now, I am in the process of doing some editing and rereading of the story to this point, as I haven’t really touched the MS in over six months. It’s like a brand new tale to me 🙂 Man, I love that!

Anyway, without bending your ear further, here is my six sentences for this week.

Ana raised a brow. “A Lupine?”

“A mix of human and wolf. They live in the Dark Forest, north of the Glen.”

Ana’s stomach dropped to her toes. Magic wielding goddesses, shapeshifters, dream crystals…how would she ever find her boy?

How’s that for a little teaser? As you can probably figure out, Machenwood is, or will be, a fantasy tale.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the excerpt.

Thanks for stopping in. Please make sure to click the Six Sunday image at the top of the post or visit: http://sixsunday.com and visit with the other bloggers/writers offering excerpts from their stories today. Who knows, you may just find your next favorite author.

Happy Sunday!

Under the Sea #Giveaway Hop #CalloftheSea #selkie #pirates #seamyths

Thanks for stopping by my little part of the Under the Sea Blog Hop hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer and The Musings of ALMYBNENR.

When a fellow writer of mine brought this blog hop to my attention, I was beyond excited. Considering the male lead of my recently released paranormal romance, Call of the Sea is a selkie and the female lead is a pirate.

Perfect, right?

I completely agree. It’s almost Fate… well, maybe not quite so fortuitous as all that, but darn close.

Anyway, this is why I have decided to offer a SIGNED PRINT COPY of CALL OF THE SEA to the winner of my part of the blog hop.

All you need to do to win is comment below telling me what your favorite sea myth is, and make sure to leave a way to contact you should you be chosen as the winner.

Here is a little bit about Call of the Sea:

Back of the Book: Elysandra Winters has always yearned for a life of adventure on the rolling seas and is willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill her dream. When her Privateer father continually refuses to allow his only daughter to sail, Ellie defies him, disguises herself as a boy, and goes in search of a captain who will give her a chance to prove her worth.

Thanks to the cursed selkie blood coursing through his veins, Daniel O’Rourke needs the sea to survive. After giving up on his humanity and spending three years in seal form, he decides to give his human side another chance. Daniel goes in search of a job and a sense of normalcy, earning himself a position aboard Captain Winter’s ship, The Siren’s Call. However, his new captain’s first assignment has nothing at all to do with sailing, and everything to do with his headstrong young daughter.

Years later, when the leader of a band of bloodthirsty pirates murders Captain Winters, Daniel and Elysandra’s lives come crashing back together with the force of a hurricane. Both experts in deception, they must find a way to trust each other in order to quell the raging storm between them or have any hope of hunting down the captain’s killer.

As you can imagine, the selkie myth has always been one of my favorite sea myths. What is yours?

Remember, one lucky commentor will will a signed copy of CALL OF THE SEA at the conclusion of the blog hop.

Please be sure to visit the LINKY LINK and check out the other participating blogs. There are tons of great sea stories up for grabs!

Cover Reveal: Silent Echoes by Aimee Laine (@aimeelaine) #coverreveal #PNR

As an author and as a reader, I have always been a huge fan of cover reveals. Nothing gets me jazzed about an upcoming release more than the cover reveal.

Today I have the new cover for my fellow Sisterhood member, Aimee Laine and her new release in the Games of Zeus series, Silent Echoes.

Silent Echoes

Back of the Book

For years, Ian Sands has enjoyed his life as a bachelor, taking advantage of singlehood and exploring his own definition of passion—whoever she may be. Blonde. Brunette. Tall. Short. Hot. Not. Five months ago, all that changed.

Ian’s been celibate, frustrated and desperately seeking answers to why one woman, who doesn’t play by girls’ rules, haunts his every waking moment.

As a renovations specialist, Taylor Marsh lives, works and breathes construction—a profession her southern belle of a mother would rather Taylor not touch. The same goes for Ian; Mama Marsh would never approve of him.

Like Ian, though, each time he and Taylor draw near, something compels her to get closer.

Something else tells her to run away.

Fast.

As much as their histories suggest they shouldn’t be together, neither Taylor nor Ian can deny the pull, and the two succumb, indulging in a relationship that brings pleasure to body, mind and soul.

Doing so, though, also ushers in a series of events both should have foreseen as well as one final outcome neither expected.

Other Books in this series include:
Hide & Seek

Personally, I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and am anxious to have a peek at the next. The cover only adds to my interest. I am especially curious as to the significance of the haunted look to the house and the noose hanging from the eaves… quite curious!

What do you think about the cover? Does it fit the book description? Looking forward to hearing what some of you think.

Really enjoyed this one.

The Machenwood Chronicles and Other Tales

Frozen Heart
Frozen Heart by Annabelle Blume

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I brought this novella on the plane with me when I flew to California and I have to say, reading it made the time fly by. Before I knew it, I was at the end of the story and looking for more.

Im not one to give spoilers in reviews, so I will stay away from anything too specific, but will say that I loved the descriptions and Ms, Blume really did a spectacular job of describing the dystopian world Cressenda lives in. I was hooked from the first page, and really enjoyed the interactions between her and Beckett as the story unfolded. The romance developed nicely and I never felt any lags in the story or action. A really stellar read.

I will definitely be looking for more from this author.
