So what’s Call of the Sea all about? So glad you asked *wink*

Back of the Book: Elysandra Winters has always yearned for a life of adventure on the rolling seas and is willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill her dream. When her Privateer father continually refuses to allow his only daughter to sail, Ellie defies him, disguises herself as a boy, and goes in search of a captain who will give her a chance to prove her worth.

Thanks to the cursed selkie blood coursing through his veins, Daniel O’Rourke needs the sea to survive. After giving up on his humanity and spending three years in seal form, he decides to give his human side another chance. Daniel goes in search of a job and a sense of normalcy, earning himself a position aboard Captain Winter’s ship, The Siren’s Call. However, his new captain’s first assignment has nothing at all to do with sailing, and everything to do with his headstrong young daughter.

Years later, when the leader of a band of bloodthirsty pirates murders Captain Winters, Daniel and Elysandra’s lives come crashing back together with the force of a hurricane. Both experts in deception, they must find a way to trust each other in order to quell the raging storm between them or have any hope of hunting down the captain’s killer.

Faith’s Gift Has Been Contracted by Evernight Publishing (@evernightpub)! #erotica #BDSM

That’s right, you heard it here. I have finally managed to write a story worthy of the publisher my Pen Sisters, Lila Shaw and Kastil Eavenshade have been raving about — Evernight Publishing.

FAITH’S GIFT, a romantic, erotic short with strong BDSM elements has been accepted and contracted to be included in Evernight’s Christmas kink anthology, Vanilla-Free Christmas.

Most of you know how much I enjoy writing kinky BDSM oriented stories, so this anthology was a no-brainer for me.

I am so absolutely excited to have earned a spot in the Evernight family and to join such amazing authors as Lila and Kastil, not to mention others like Sandra Bunino. So stoked!!

I don’t have a ton of details yet, nor do I know what other authors will be included in the anthology, but I promise to pass along any information I get.

In the meantime, Evernight has already added me to their Authors Page, so you can find my links and contact info — and hopefully at some point soon, get a look at some other titles I will have available through Evernight (yes, ya gotta dream big, baby!)

Six Sentence Sunday: BDSM and Kink are HOT #duh #sixsunday

For my first post back in the swing of things for Six Sentence Sunday, I thought I would stir things up a bit, and maybe turn the heat up with a little snipit of the erotic short I just finished.

The story was written for a Kinky Christmas anthology, and I am still waiting on word of an acceptance or rejection, but in light of all the talk and hype lately with respect to kink and BDSM in fiction, I figured I would join in on the fun. This is part of a scene between the two main characters, Faith Daniels and Richard Halstead. (BTW — Hercules is Richard’s Saint Bernard)

Without further delay, here is my six sentences for this week:

“I’ll just come back tomorrow at the same time.” Faith glanced at Hercules. “As long as you promise not to growl at me again.”

“Yes, you’re right. Absolutely,” Richard agreed. ” I’m sure it’s much safer to ride the subway this late than to take a well meaning stranger up on his offer of kindness.”

You have to keep an eye on that Richard, he can be pretty convincing when he wants to be…so like a Dom 😛

As always, I would love to hear your comments or thoughts on the excerpt. Feel free to share.

Oh, and while you’re at it, please make sure to click the image at the top of the post or visit http://sixsunday.com and visit with the other authors participating in this week’s Six Sentence Sunday event.

Thanks so much for stopping in. See you next time.

Happy Holidays Everyone! – Santa brought me a Nook!

I just wanted to take a quick moment and wish you all Happy Holidays and the best for each of you in 2011. I have been so busy with the family events and Christmas prep that I have not posted in a few weeks, but I promise it shall pick up now that there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

On a side note, I got a NOOK for Christmas.  Does anyone else have one?  Like it?  Hate it?  Have any tips or tricks?
