Welcome to my stop on the Skydreamer blog tour. Always happy to have visitors, especially when I’ve got good news to share. I’ve managed to snag the first of a series of EXCLUSIVE excerpts from Ms. Winters’ just released New Adult Fantasy Romance, SKYDREAMER.
Before I get to the teaser, let me give you all the details about the novel, which released yesterday.
Blurb: For fire talent, Jaden Zarie, life is far from a fairy tale. Blisters from any contact with water, check. Sleeping in a shed behind your greedy Uncle’s house, check. Ex-boyfriend scouting the bar where you work for one-night stands every night, double check.
When Jaden sets off to secure a new life with her two sisters, winning a contest with a huge pile of gold on the line seems like a quick fix. Getting hitched to Draven Winterbourne, King of the Dragon-changers, and finding true love, was beyond anything she could have hoped for.
But a friend turned enemy threatens to take it all away. Jaden is thrust into an alternate universe and separated from her new husband and her sisters, she must summon up the courage to start over, alone, knowing she may never see any of them again.
Now, without further ado, here is your exclusive excerpt from SKYDREAMER…
“…The Contest is open to all women between the ages of twenty-one and thirty. Contestants are required to bring their own reagents. The use of Alchemy is strictly prohibited. Chance of winning twelve hundred gold per round is one in…”
Voices press in on me from every side. The week of constant traveling has done me in. All I want to do is hide in the vego and sleep. I don’t even care if we have enough for dinner tonight. I feel trapped by the chattering voices of the crowd mashed up with the officials on the Dais.
“I heard the King’s mother set up this contest herself. Talk about the ultimate mama’s boy. He has to be uglier than a troll if his mother has to marry him off this way,” someone suggested.
“… high possibility of death,” came a skeptical voice, “but with twelve hundred gold per round, everyone should enter.”
“Which one is Draven?” a shrill voice demands.
“Are you blind?” Came the reply. “He’s the one good looking one with the light brown hair. The one standing next to King Evrid.”
“You said he was ugly!”
It doesn’t matter who this Draven is. We are only here for Adania. If we win, every silver goes to her schooling. She’ll have a roof over her head and decent clothes. Nothing else matters.
My fingers sink back into the dark blue Legal Sphere I received earlier. The tiny ball settles into my palms with only a light sizzle and its message sounds inside my head.
All contestants will enter into an exclusive competition. The winner will win a one-year marriage with Draven Winterbourn, King of the Dragon-Changers. Iyardar Stone to choose the winner. In the event Draven Winterbourn does not agree with the Iyardar Stone, he has the right to veto said contestant and select one of his choosing from the remaining contestants. As stipulated, marriage duration will be one year, unless both parties—
“Is the Iyardar Stone a diamond, or a ruby?” I whisper to Isla. “And how does it choose a winner if it’s a rock?”

Accidental Valentine Blog Tour and an #Excerpt by @KatrinaSizemore #Romance #Anthology @Roanepublishing
Today I have the distinct pleasure of bringing you an excerpt from the recently released anthology, ACCIDENTAL VALENTINE. The anthology contains five wonderful stories of accidental Valentine’s Day romance, and I have to say, I really enjoyed the whole thing. A great light read, or something to pull out at the waiting room or while waiting your turn at the DMV.
My excerpt is from Better Latte Than Never by Katrina Sizemore…
“Sorry you’re stuck with me today,” he said.
Hailey dashed inside.
The warmth of the shop and his voice enveloped her. It already smelled beautiful in there. The usual coffee smells, but also something spicy. Something extra.
“It’s okay…” She took a deep fortifying breath, appreciating more of the new scent and adjusted her purse strap on her shoulder.
The bolt thudded into place and he stepped back into her view.
Since when had Andrew become so hot, and what was wrong with her? He had been her best bud since at least freshman year.
She swept her gaze over him again, tallying the changes she could see. Besides the sexy stubble and the muscle that twitched in his temple as he observed her inspection, he was the same old Drew. Button up flannel shirt, sleeves rolled up, khakis that hung on his frame as if they had been tailored. But instead of the supportive old friend that he was, he appeared scrumptious and totally kissable.
She dragged in a breath.
A timer beeped, breaking the moment.
“Hey, I made you coffee. It’s on the counter.” He headed to the back, leaving her to notice the holiday decorations and cardboard cherub hanging from the ceiling in front of her, his arrow pointed right at her chest. As if Cupid intended to make her his target. Her heart skipped a beat.
Hailey rolled her eyes at herself. Valentine’s Day wasn’t like Halloween. The veil between worlds wasn’t thin. Magic didn’t happen on Valentine’s Day. She had watched Amy hang the thing yesterday, pulling him out of the packaging from a big party store.
“Bring it on, fat baby,” she muttered and went looking for some coffee.

About Katrina Sizemore:
When Katrina was eleven, she penned a fantasy story for school with her best friend and has been writing ever since. As Katrina grew older, her love of reading expanded beyond fantasy to include romance and science fiction. The focus of her stories followed.
Still enchanted by the mystical and fantastical, she now weaves romantic stories about couples caught in contemporary settings, as well as paranormal and fantastical worlds.
Everyone deserves true love and a little magic.

Ghost of a Chance – Lily Carlyle
Julie looked from the car—a BMW—to him and back. “This is your car?”
“Like?” He beeped the doors unlocked, and opened the passenger side for Julie.
She paused before she got in, stroking the car’s cold smooth surface. “Is this real?” She sank into the leather seat, sighing as it enveloped her in comfort, and turned to Sean as he got in. “I’d offer condolences on your penis size if I didn’t know better.”
He gave her a sidelong glance, snorting, “Gee, thanks.”
The car’s tires chirped as Sean reversed then pulled out of the parking spot.
“Where are we going?” Julie held her numb hands in front of the air vents, willing the car to warm up.
“It’s a surprise.” Sean flicked a switch on the dashboard. “And, I have another surprise—heated seats.”
Julie moaned as the leather began to warm beneath her. “I take back everything nasty I implied about this car. It’s the best car ever.”
“What about my penis?”
She sensed him looking at her out of the corner of his eye. “No comment.”

Purr-fect Mating Blog Tour: All the better to tease you with, my dear. #Excerpt #Teaser @RoanePublishing @WintersSheryl #Shifters
Hello and welcome back to the Nook!
As usual, I have a special treat for you all today. I have managed to score you all a teaser from the recently released shifter romance from Roane Publishing and author, Sheryl Winters, titled PURR-FECT MATING.
Gorgeous cover, ain’t it? *winks*
Of course, I have liked all of Roane’s covers so far. But, I digress… let me get to the good stuff… your peek at Purr-fect Mating.
On their wedding night, at the stroke of midnight, Wulfar changes into his shifted wolf form and cannot shift back. Not even to communicate with the woman he loves.
Fhina, upon waking the day after their mating, no longer recognizes her mate. Pregnant and confused, she’s convinced herself her mate has run away and left her to live alone. With his dog.
Can the cursed pair find a counter charm before Fhina gives birth? Will Wulfar be able to curb his inclination to run?
Or will their mutual curses break up their love affair before it’s really even started.

Pounding on the door has us both jumping.
The discovery of finding my soul mate has me off center. We could die from my negligence. I must deal with this hunter, and soon. Taking a deep breath, I swing open the door.
Human cells twist to that of a feline. My arms and legs lengthen, growing more muscular. Fur sprouts where smooth skin was. My dress falls to the ground as my kitty skin erupts into being—one hundred percent Siberian Tiger. Roaring, I knock the gun from the hunter’s hand.
He falls backward with a heavy oof.
My claws unsheathe and I tap them against the human’s jaw, watching in delight as fear crawls into his eyes.
The man is the type who kills my kind for sport. It’s on the stench of his skin. The type of evil you can’t rid your flesh of. He’s one who deserves to die.
“You are not welcome here,” Wulfar growls from behind me.
“Another beast. Shit.” The hunter gropes for his gun, but the weight of my tiger body has him safely pinned to the ground.
“Do I look like a beast? Why were you knocking on my door?” The fur at my nape bristles. “Don’t you know your kind is not welcome in this area?”
The hunter squeals, wiggling beneath me and attempts some type of halfhearted Judo move, which he performs with ill grace.
Did he really think he could throw off a full grown tiger? Laying flat, I allow him to feel the true weight of my transformed body.

About the Author: I never set out to be an author. Only a story teller. Some days I succeed better than others.
I am starting to get myself back in the swing of things… meaning I have found some time to get back to posting a bit more regularly on the blog here — Yes, I know you all missed me SOOO much — right?
Today, my little teaser comes to you from a WIP I have had shelved while I concentrated on Roane Publishing matters. But, like all good stories, I can hear the MC’s beckoning me from afar, so I will be getting back into this tale shortly.
Today’s snipit comes to you from a little shifter tale I have in the works. This is one I actually forgot was even on my hard drive until I started looking for something to work on the other day. I started reading and decided it was not only good — I dont even remember starting it. Well, maybe some of it I remember… like the hot male shifter, maybe *wink*
Anyway, here is my tease for you this week:
* * * *
The tantalizing scent of roasted vegetables tickled my senses, urging me to return from the edge of nothingness, and coaxing me to open my eyes. I regretted the action almost instantly. Light streamed in the open window to pierce my skull with its fiery rays of torture. Squinting, I lifted a hand to shield them. Pain sliced through me at the slight movement, causing me to suck a breath in through gritted teeth.
Memories rushed in. My last hunting trip as a free woman, the buck I’d shot, the angry wolf pack, piercing amber eyes laced with … concern?
“You’re awake. Excellent.”
I emitted a startled squeak, my head jerking in the direction of the decidedly masculine voice, muscles tensing. Pain jolted through my body at the movement, turning the squeal into a distressed moan.
“Easy now. I’ve stitched you up, but I can’t guarantee it’ll hold if you keep flopping about like a fish out of water.”
My death grip on the bed sheets loosened, and I relaxed back into the mattress through force of will, turning my head to face the unfamiliar, soft spoken voice.
Intense amber eyes stared down at me from beneath an unruly mop of obsidian waves.
“You!” The accusation slipped past my lips before I could stop it.
He glanced down, as if checking to ensure he was all still there. “Last time I checked.”
I followed his gaze downward, over a lightly furred, chiseled chest to a flat stomach before freezing on strong, nude hips.
I quickly turned my head and stared a hole in the wall beside the bed. “You’re naked.”
His chuckle sent a ripple of warmth through my body. “Aren’t you just Princess Obvious. Yes. I’m naked and yes, I’m me. Any other accusations you want to hurl before I feed you some of this broth I’ve been preparing especially for you?” He pointed to the kettle hanging beside a crackling fire, where I assumed the delectable stewed vegetable scent emanated from.
His sarcasm grated my nerves, and his nudity played havoc with my already tenuous mental state. “No, but if you were to fall into some breeches, I wouldn’t complain.”
“Somehow I find that difficult to believe.”
I snorted in a most unladylike manner. “Don’t flatter yourself.”
Yup, leave it to me to write a self centered, hot, male lead. Always gotta make them difficult. *grins* Would love to know what you think. Feel free to drop a comment below. Sharing is caring 🙂

Now that I have your attention.
Special treat alert!!
I’ve got some skinny for all of you on my friend and fellow margarita sister, DC Stone’s most recent Evernight Publishing release, INTIMATE DANGER. As if the cover isn’t hot enough for you, that quote from Charlie Lopez should steam you up a bit. Love a girl who knows what she wants.
Here’s all the relevant dirt on what looks to be a hot and intriguing romantic suspense novel.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
When FBI agent Trent Rossi arrives to investigate a chain of crimes—devastating murders and violent rapes—an inexperienced small town Detective, Charlie, who’s assigned to assist, finds her desire surging for the agent—only to realize he is the primary suspect.
A sleeping threat has awakened in the small town of Nyack. Crimes in the cozy village, garner the attention of the FBI, who assign two agents to assist Charlie in tracking down the sick and deranged perpetrator. Agents Trent Rossi and Dillon Echols work closely with Charlie, but as the crimes progress, dark secrets begin to cloud the air, blurring the line between who is on the side of the law and who’s against it. Being Charlie’s first major case, she’s unprepared not only for the menacing killer on the loose, but also with the unexpected feelings Trent draws out of her.
While Trent holds secrets, disappears at random, and seems to understand their perpetrator all-too-well, Charlie’s suspicions grow along with the pull she feels toward him. Her attraction could become fatal, yet she does not realize it until it is too late.
Jesus, he should be looking for this Detective Lopez, but his body screamed for this woman. He fought the urge to fidget, cursed the hours he had been working, unable to get any kind of companionship. He would have to work quick and then find Charlie. “I’m Agent Rossi with the FBI.” He leaned against the desk, gave her the look that had gotten him into pants faster than any of his college buddies, and held out a hand. She looked at his palm as if it were a serpent ready to strike.
“And? How can I help you, Agent Rossi?” She rose from her chair and crossed her arms under her breasts. He tried—and failed—to ignore how the movement pushed her plentiful mounds up toward her chin.
He pulled his hand back and ran it through his hair.
Bad move! The stench coming from under his arm made him wince.
“Look, I know you probably have things to do,” he said.
She nodded, brows lifted to her hairline, as if saying “no shit.” He went on, “But I do need to find Detective Lopez. You’d be a real sweetheart if you could point me in his direction. I’m here on a case and I don’t know…maybe after I’m done briefing him, you’d like to have dinner with me? That is, if you’re not busy?”
The contortion of her brows twisted before a sly smile spread.
“You’re looking for Charlie, huh?”
Someone groaned, and Trent glared over his shoulder, perplexed. The heavyset guy in need of Tide shook his head and looked away. Irritated at the interruption and apparent lack of man code, Trent turned his attention back to the cute little female.
He nodded. “Yeah.”
The woman shifted and sat in the chair with purposeful, slow movements. She set one foot on the desk, crossed a long leg over the other. Each action played out in slow motion through his lust-filled brain. He shifted, his focus glued to the smooth expanse of a jean-covered thigh, and stepped closer.
Hummidy, hummidy, hummidy.
“And why is it you need Charlie?” The woman ran a hand up the outside of her leg and his attention followed it. His mouth went dry.
“Umm, a case.”
“Yeah.” When silence met him, he realized what was happening. You didn’t have to go through interrogation and interview classes in order to figure it out. He was being led. His gaze snapped to hers, except this time, her face did not look friendly. If the hardening of her mouth was any indication, she looked pissed. And he’d been totally caught just checking her out.
Resigned, he let out a breath.
“Yeah, a case. Look, I’m sorry for all—” He waved a hand between them. “This. Could you just point me in the direction of Detective Lopez?”
Her hard mouth softened and she stood from her chair again, lips turning up at the corners. Leaning in to him, her scent surrounded him and he got a whiff of coconut.
His gaze tracked along her face, and dropped to her shirt, which parted as she leaned forward. He about choked as he tried to swallow, his mouth dry as the Arizona desert.
“Well, Agent Rossi.”
Lean forward a little more, please.
“If you could stop staring at my tits for all of two seconds, then I’ll tell where you can find Detective Lopez.”
The noisemaker behind him let out a strangled cough.
He snapped his regard up to hers. Hazel eyes blared with anger. Crap.
“Shit, I’m sorry. Seriously, it has been a long damn day. If you’d just tell me where he is, Miss?” He raised his brows, wanting her name. Good Lord, he wanted her name.
She smiled sweet, the transformation of her face a thing of beauty. “It’s Detective.”
He raised a brow, a sick feeling creeping up his spine. “Detective?” he croaked.
The smile spread to her eyes. “Yes, and to not only help you, but to also answer your question, it’s Detective Lopez. How can I help you, Agent Rossi?”
The noisemaker behind him snorted out a laugh.

I’ll be sharing a short excerpt from the story with you, as soon as I give you all the details on Sonny Zae’s latest release.
The Adventures of Sonny the Scoundrel
by Sonny Zae
Genre: Fantasy Adventure/Romance; Humor
Keywords: Fantasy, Romantic Comedy, Adventure, Fairy Tale
Publisher: Roane Publishing
Description: Sonny is so handsome, he doesn’t need magic to get what he wants, except when he gets into trouble. And, he’ll do anything for love or money, except work. So, the thought of marriage represents the worst of all possible worlds, a danger he avoids at all costs.
His plans for getting rich the easy way—by stealing—go awry when he meets Ariella. She is not only lovely to look at, but just may be as slippery and greedy as he. Better still, she becomes highly stimulated at the prospect of helping him hijack a treasure.
But, in addition to helping him steal “goald”, the cunning Ariella might just steal his scoundrel heart.
“Why do you hate me?” I gasped.
“Hate you? Why, Sonny, dear, what makes you think I have anything in my heart for you except love—lust and love?” She leaned over my bare back and traced a fingernail up and over the curve of my rump, with her nail slicing open my skin, stretched tight as it was by the knotting of my leg muscles. “Is this not what you secretly desired? I shall hurt you in the most delicious ways, cause you to ache and throb all over, then give you the release you so fervently desire. Your cries of pleasure shall rip the very leaves off the trees, leaving a vast circle of barren branches around us, as if autumn had arrived very, very early.”
“Oh, yes, go on,” I urged, having difficulty in getting out the words. “Defoliate me!”
But Ariella paused, with one hand squeezing my right butt cheek like a great owl seizing a plump woodchuck, with only the tips of her sleek talons piercing my tender flesh. “What could I have done to give you even the slightest thought that I might dislike you?”
“What do you mean?” I hissed through clenched teeth, a string of drool stretching from my lips to the ground. “You drugged me and had me thrown into the stocks! You slipped enough potion into my ale to kill a wild stallion.”
“You have it wrong,” Ariella declared. “The only thing I added to your ale was a handful of crushed ever-ready leaf. It gives a man extraordinary … potency.” She gave me another squeeze as she talked, admiring the effect of the medicine. “I have long known of its power.”
“Do you have any more?”
“More?” She snorted in amusement. “I have a whole garden of ever-ready leaf.”

Welcome to another addition of Steamy Sunday, where each week I will share something I find STEAMY — could be an excerpt, an image, a story, you name it. If I think it has hotness, it could be included.
This week, in honor of the Thanskgiving holiday, I thought I would reach into the archives and share a steamy little excerpt form my short story, Routine Maintenance — which is part of the FELT TIPS office supply themed erotica anthology released by Tiffany Reisz (and 8th Circle Press) with all proceeds on the anthology sales being donated to charity.
My story is one of 44 (give or take) included in the anthology.
Here is a little tidbit from Routine Maintenance:
* * * *
Jacob absorbed the remaining air between them, drawing her into his embrace. His mouth crushed hers in a bruising kiss.
Kara melted against his chest, whimpered into his mouth.
Jacob ripped his molten lips away, leaving her dizzy and clinging. She could feel his steady heartbeat bouncing against her ribcage where their bodies still touched.
The smile pulling at his succulent lips sent a shiver along her arms and the blood thrumming through her veins. “What do you think? Do I?” he asked, voice low and husky.
Kara blinked, mind numb. “Think? Me?” I think you shouldn’t have stopped.
Jacob let out a soft chuckle.
The delicious sound trickled down her spine like warm honey, heating her from the inside out. She stared at his lips, urging them to reclaim hers.
As if he heard her silent plea, Jacob’s lips fused with hers, scattering all thought. His fingers twined in the hair at her nape, gripped it tight.
Tingles shot through her limbs at the commanding touch. Kara pressed her body to his, anxious to follow wherever he planned to take her.
Still holding her in place with a handful of hair, Jacob leaned away, searched her face. “You have to be willing to ask for what you want, Kara.” He traced her jaw with a fingertip. “Can you do that for me?”
Confusion clouded her thoughts and heat flushed her cheeks. Could she? What exactly do I want? Kara took a deep breath and let the words out in a rush. “I want you to kiss me again.”
He grinned. “Good girl. Now, ask for it properly.”
Her stomach knotted at the prospect. “Ask?”
“Yes, you know what I want to hear, don’t you pet?” As a reminder of his control over her body, his hand tightened in her hair.
Despite the rush of fear careening through her body, Kara felt a stab of desire at the quiet command lacing his voice. “Will you please kiss me again?”
“That’s all you want? Another kiss?” he asked, brow arched. The grip on her hair loosened. “How disappointing.”

Mid-Week Tease: Just a Taste of River Reckoning by Jenny Lyn (@JennyLynwrites) #erotic #romance #MWTease
Welcome back, everyone.
Do I have a treat for you all this week. Since I tooted my own horn and shared a tease from a work I just had released last week, I thought I would share the spotlight this week and offer you all a little taste of friend and fellow Evernight author, Jenny Lyn’s latest erotic release, RIVER RECKONING.
Here are the juicy details on the story:
Genre: Erotic Romance
Blurb: Bond Mason’s roots run deep in the backwoods hamlet of Trespass, Florida. Nestled against the banks of the Suwannee River, the only home she’s ever known holds bittersweet memories of a family long gone. Except one of her ghosts isn’t dead and possessive ex-lover James Kyle wants her back.
U.S. Deputy Marshal Nathan Gates sights are set on capturing fugitive Robert Kyle. Wanted for the cold-blooded murder of a DEA agent, Robert is suspected of being hidden away with his moonshine-brewing, marijuana-growing family of fellow lawbreakers, one of which is his brother, James.
Nathan expected high temperatures when he arrived in Trespass. What he hadn’t counted on is his searing attraction to southern beauty Bond Mason. She winds him around her finger like a tendril of Spanish moss, but his lawman’s intuition tells him she’s hiding secrets too. When he finally convinces her to talk, he’s not prepared for the dark truths she reveals about her hometown.
The Suwannee is deep, but Trespass’s sins run much deeper. For once, Nathan might be in over his head.
* * * * *
Now that I have your full attention *winks* here is your Mid-week tease:
Mature Audiences Only!
“Nathan.” Her fingers nervously toyed with the robe’s sash. He gradually raised his gaze to hers, tearing it away from the temptation of her body. “I have a small confession to make.”
His interest was piqued. “I’m listening.”
Color flooded her cheeks. He put one knee on the mattress and kissed her jaw reassuringly. She braced her hands on his biceps, the heat of a sigh warming his ear. “Last night when you were kind of … bossy … I liked it … a lot.”
He grinned. That was some admission. His single-minded cock wholeheartedly approved. It was so hard it threatened to bust through the teeth of his zipper. “You like me telling you what to do, huh?”
She nodded. Her fingers caught the hem of his t-shirt, stripping it over his head. “I like it when you talk.”
“Last night you said I talked too much.”
“I can’t be held accountable for the things I say during incredible sex. I want you to talk.”
Incredible sex. No argument there, it had been. Tonight was going to top that.
The robe slipped off one shoulder exposing her right breast, an enticement impossible to resist. Nathan ducked his head and made a lazy circle around her nipple with the tip of his tongue. It tightened to a stiff peak. He felt her fingers slide through his hair, heard the tiny moan she made in her throat. “Dirty?” he asked against her skin.
“Anything. I want to listen, not think. I like your voice, but if you were saying naughty things it would be even better.”
He chuckled as he eased off the bed. Bond sat back on her heels, resting her hands on her thighs expectantly. “Take your hair down.”
She released the clip, allowing the dark mass to tumble free. When she shook her head, damp curls slid over her shoulders. Nathan reached out and wound a long lock around his fingers, tugging gently. “You’re stunning.” More color flooded her cheeks and neck. Her bottom lip slipped between her teeth. “Come closer.”
Rising to her knees, she scooted to the edge of the bed, pressing her chest to his. Nathan caught the lapels of her robe in his fists and pulled it down her arms, trapping them at her sides. He buried his face in her neck, trailing kisses across the tender, fragrant skin. Her scent made him drunk with desire, crazy with need. Never had he been so affected by a woman as he was by Bond. She was like some illicit drug, and he’d become a hopeless addict with one sample.

About the Author:
I started reading when I was four, thanks to a babysitter who found out the only way to get me to sit still was to put a book in my hand. By the time I entered kindergarten, I’d blown through just about every Little Golden Book ever printed. Ten years later, much to my mother’s dismay, I found her stash of paperback romance novels. She tried to divert me back to something more chaste by buying me Harlequins, but I still snuck copies of her Kathleen Woodiwiss’s and Johanna Lindsey’s when she wasn’t looking. Shanna, The Flame and the Flower, and Fires of Winter will always hold special places in my heart because they introduced me to roguish heroes, headstrong heroines, and the trouble they could get into together.
I live in a swampy little corner of north-central Florida with my family, both the two-legged and four-legged variety. I love to read, run hot and cold in regards to cooking, and I never miss an episode of Justified, Longmire, or Dexter. I guess I like justice in all its various forms.

“They’re almost as beautiful as you are. Almost.”
Beth dropped the sapphire on the dresser and whipped about. “I didn’t hear you come in.”
Seeing his grin jumpstarted her pulse. “Yes, I see that.” He crossed to her in three long strides, his proximity stealing all the air from the room, and her lungs. “Hello, angel. I’m so glad you came.”
“Hello again, Sir.”
Before she could say another word, think another thought, Alexander grabbed her and pulled her into his arms. His mouth crushed hers in a bruising kiss.
Beth melted against him, arms sliding up to encircle his neck. She welcomed the feel of his body pressed against hers and savored the taste of his forceful lips.
Alexander growled and moved forward, backing Beth against the wall beside the dresser. His hands found her wrists, pinning them above her head while his mouth continued to ravish hers. He held her arms immobile with one hand, the other sliding down her side to the hem of her skirt. With minimal effort, he managed to hike it up above her waist. Hot lips kissed a trail of fire along the column of her throat. He drew back enough to capture her gaze, mouth curling into a wicked grin. “Now that we’ve gotten the vanilla out of the way.”
